Terms of Service

1. Scope

These Terms of Service govern all orders and services placed via the ContentKick Shopify storefront. ContentKick is a brand operated by RenderThat GmbH and offers visual content creation services (CGI and AI) exclusively to business clients (B2B).

2. Order Process

Orders are placed directly via Shopify. Production begins once the client has submitted a complete briefing and all required materials (e.g. product images, CAD files). No project starts without full payment.

3. Delivery Timelines

Typical delivery times range from 5–7 working days to receive the first version of your content, starting from the moment we receive all materials and a final, approved briefing.
Final delivery may take longer depending on revision rounds and feedback speed. Delays in client feedback or missing input may cause project pauses or extended timelines.

4. Revisions & Approval

Each order includes two revision rounds. Revisions are handled via the RenderThat Hub, a structured platform for reviews and approvals.
If additional revisions are needed, the client will be informed in advance and asked to approve any extra costs.

Final files are only delivered once the preview has been approved by the client.

5. License & Usage Rights

All delivered visuals (AI and CGI) come with full commercial usage rights.
Content is delivered white-label — clients are not required to credit ContentKick or RenderThat.
Unless a written NDA is in place, RenderThat may showcase final results in its own portfolio, website, or sales presentations.

Source files (e.g. 3D models, layered PSDs) are not included unless explicitly stated. Clients may purchase source files for 350% of the original product price.

6. Use of Freelancers

To ensure quality and flexibility, ContentKick may assign freelancers to parts of the production process.
All freelancers are bound by strict NDAs and only receive access to necessary project data (e.g. visual materials). Clients never interact directly with freelancers.

7. Tools and AI Processing

ContentKick uses professional tools such as 3ds Max, V-Ray, Cinema 4D, Photoshop, among others.
For AI-based products, client-provided materials (e.g. images, prompts) may be processed through third-party AI systems.

We reserve the right to update our tools and workflows at any time to improve speed and quality.

8. Payment Terms

All payments must be made in advance via Shopify Payments.
RenderThat GmbH applies VAT according to German tax law:

  • German clients are charged VAT.

  • EU clients outside Germany must provide a valid VAT ID.

  • Non-EU clients are handled based on applicable reverse-charge rules.

If payment fails, the project will not begin. No late fees are charged, but work is paused until payment is received.

9. Liability Disclaimer

RenderThat GmbH shall not be held liable for indirect damages, loss of data, or delays caused by incomplete briefings, third-party systems (e.g. AI services), or client-side inactivity.
We do not guarantee specific visual outcomes unless they are explicitly confirmed in writing.
